Learn to navigate your Mac using innovative Multi-touch gestures like full-screen swiping, page and image zoom, and rubber-band scrolling.  Discover brand new multitasking features like Mission Control and Launchpad. Check out the new looks and features of Mail, Address Book, iCal, PhotoBooth and more!

Backing up Your Mac

In this session, we'll explain the importance of backing up your data, and what you should look for in a backup solution (is it automated, verified, restorable, and secure?) We'll start with amazing Time Machine app on your Mac, and move into 3rd party backup solutions that pick up where Time Machine leaves off.

Switching

Whether you’re a PC user who has already made the switch to Mac, or you’re simply considering it, this is the workshop for you. In this session, you’ll learn how to navigate the Mac OS X and utilize the software that comes with a Mac, all while highlighting the Mac equivalents of the skills and tasks you’re used to doing on Windows.

iLife Overview

iLife is Apple’s suite of digital lifestyle applications, included for free with the purchase of any new Mac. In this workshop, you'll learn to get the most out of your digital photos, movies and music using iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand. We'll also review some of the features of the latest version of the software, iLife '11.
